New Riley Fuzzel Exit Ramp off Hardy Toll Road Enhances Spring Trails' Accessibility
11/08/03
SPRING, Texas–Location! Location! Location! Spring Trails, the only master-planned community conveniently located off the Hardy Toll Road, has something new to boast about. The new Riley Fuzzel exit ramp off the Hardy Toll Road is now open.
The ramp is located only 1.5 miles from Spring Trails' community entrance – just two minutes away - making the Hardy Toll Road access very convenient for residents.
Donna Marie Jendritza and her husband Curtis Storz were the first residents to move into Spring Trails. When asked what made them settle on Spring Trails, Jendritza said, "When we saw the initial development plans for the Spring Trails neighborhood, we liked how the community offered a serene environment from the surrounding mature forest, yet offered the closeness and comforts of the city."
Jendritza and Storz both work downtown and say that their drive time is less than 30 minutes. And with the opening of the Riley Fuzzel exit ramp, Jendritza says, "That will take at least five more minutes off our already-easy commute."
In addition to the $2.2 million dollar ramp project, future improvements to Riley Fuzzel are also underway. Due to the growth in this area, both Harris and Montgomery County made an inter-local agreement to widen Riley Fuzzel to five lanes including a center-turning lane and a new bridge over Spring Creek.
Spring Trails' General Manager Jimmy Pappas says, "The new Riley Fuzzel exit ramp provides easy access for residents to get to their places of employment as well as surrounding amenities."
Offering new residents and potential buyers 2,100 acres of wooded homesites, with nature trails, parks and a large pond, in addition to a recreation center that includes a pool, cabana, and a playground, Spring Trails is now even more accessible providing an easier commute.
Spring Trails offer homes by award-winning builders such as Ashton Woods, Coventry, Darling, David Powers and Perry, which feature value that is in harmony with nature. Ten decorated models are open daily. Buyers can select homes priced from the $120,000s to the $400,000s. Homes are showcased in four villages: Willow Glen, Holly Heights, Magnolia Chase and Cypress Park on heavily wooded homesites ranging from 55- to 80-feet wide.
Children who live in Spring Trails attend the highly acclaimed Conroe Independent School District and a site for a new elementary school is planned within the community.
The Visitor Center is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. For more information, visit www.SpringTrails.com, or stop by the Spring Trails' Visitor Center located at 2026 Spring Trails Bend.
To visit, travel north on the Hardy Toll Road and take the Riley Fuzzel exit. Turn right on Riley Fuzzel and proceed 1 1/2 miles to Spring Trails' entrance on the right.
