NEW ROADS, NEW BRIDGE …
all lead to a new HOME in Spring Trails!

HOUSTON, Texas – Over the river and through the woods to your new home in Spring Trails! The key to every successful community is location, location, LOCATION and the only master-planned community where you can live with nature off the Hardy Toll Road has something new to boast about … Riley Fuzzel Road and the new bridge over Spring Creek are now both OPEN!

The former Riley Fuzzel Road was a 2.3 mile, two-lane rural road that was “heavily traveled” per Espey Consultants and it has been “anticipated that traffic volumes will increase substantially based on projected residential growth in this area of southern Montgomery County.” The project coordinated by Harris County, the Harris County Toll Road Authority and Montgomery County included the “widening of the road from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a five-lane concrete roadway with 6-foot asphalt shoulders.” The new road and 4-lane, 100-foot span bridge over Spring Creek built Southeast of the previous bridge is located just a mile from the Spring Trails' community entrance – less than two minutes away – making access to and from the community to the Hardy Toll Road, Old Town Spring and I-45 even easier! These improvements to the area roads, bridge and therefore commute are an additional benefit of living at Spring Trails … a relaxing lifestyle of nature in the forest of possibilities accented by the amenities and convenience of city living. Jimmy Pappas, the executive vice president of Midway Residential comments “the new road and bridge assist with the flow of traffic to and from the community, as well as providing for safer traveling for our residents and guests.”

Additional details on the new Riley Fuzzel Bridge:

  • The design firm is Montgomery & associates from Houston Texas.

  • The bridge is 66.3’ wide with two - 6’ sidewalks on each side and a 6’3” median in the middle providing two - 12 ’ wide traffic lanes both directions.
  • The length of the bridge is 400’ and has 6 spans of concrete beams under the concrete deck.
  • The actual pour for the bridge deck was 647 cubic yards of concrete … it took 64 trucks at 10 cubic yard each, 1 truck at 7 cubic yard and two pump trucks to make the deck pour.

The master plan of Spring Trails includes 400 acres of forest and over 10 miles of nature trails to hike and bike that wind through the community connecting villages to various amenities within Spring Trails that include a pond, pool, cabana and playground. Additional recreation centers and amenities, as well as two schools, are planned for the near future as the community continues to grow. Located in Conroe ISD, Spring Trails is a master plan of innovation as spacious homes peacefully coexist within heavily wooded surroundings. With meticulous community design, superior homes, outstanding educational opportunities and an unbeatable quality of life, Spring Trails represents 'The Forest of Possibilities' to all those who live there.
